Taysia Levy is a Jamaican-Canadian who grew up in Ottawa, Ontario. Taysia is passionate about sharing their personal experiences and inspiring their readers to live beyond the pain they have endured and reach their full potential.
As a poet, Taysia aspires to help others through mental health challenges, life experiences, love, healing and finding oneself.
Taysia has always been an artistic person, engaging in painting, drawing, singing, dancing and in recent years poetry. Though writing hasn't always come easy for Taysia, they have found a love for the art and the impact that their words have had on others.
A few years after discovering the world of poetry, Taysia published their first collection of poetry, Blind Sight in 2021; which later became a bestseller in February of 2022. Then came their second book, Rough Nothing; published in early 2022. Both published books being published before the age of 16.
